Enterprise is an interactive simulation, which provides a practical, hands-on approach to teaching accountability. It rewards participants who deliver on their commitments.
Enterprise helps participants step into true accountability by focusing on:
Clarity - Clear roles, goals & expectations
Commitment – Ensuring there is understanding and real agreement
Competence - Organizing people and resources
Collaboration - Aligning efforts, vertically and horizontally
Course Correction - Identifying and closing performance gaps
Critical Communication - Engaging in timely and, if necessary, tough conversations
Overview
Enterprise will engage participants, while helping them understand how to create true commitment. It will help Leaders and People Managers prepare teams to execute brilliantly as they learn to create a Culture of Accountability (a working environment where people can count on each other to make and keep commitments)
Outcomes
Enterprise will:
Strengthen the ability of Leaders and People Managers to hold their teams accountable for getting results
Enhance cross-functional teamwork and communication
Create shared understanding of what can be done to effectively translate strategy into action and help teams "connect the dots" to manage execution
Better prepare Leaders and People Managers to lead change, solve problems and make decisions
How it Works
The Simulated Scenario: Aerospace Manufacturing at its finest!
Teams race against the clock, and their competition, to construct spacecraft on time and on budget while balancing the need for results and keeping people engaged. To succeed they must honestly assess performance, coach for performance, and work together to align their goals and activities to achieve individual and team accountabilities.
Enterprise incorporates multiple debriefs. The design encourages active experimentation on the part of participants. They learn how to take charge and accept accountability for their decisions, environment and results. The simulation ends on a high, not only because teams are successful, but because they own the results and the learning.
