Leadership Offsites

Our Leadership Team recently held an offsite meeting with the purpose to begin developing a more cohesive working relationship. Mitch did an incredible job at helping us meet and exceed our goals. He spent a great deal of time, prior to the meeting, with each of the participants, in an effort to better understand the issues.
This preparatory work allowed him to design a program suited to our group. Mitch kept things moving forward, even pushing us a bit to get to the core issues. As a newly formed team, we left the meeting with a clear set of ground rules, team expectations and a common language. Another side benefit was that the learnings gained over the day and a half will allow us to integrate new team members as they come into the Leadership Team. EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP OFFSITES

On the Mark's President, Mitch Fairrais, has extensive experience in helping Executive Leadership Teams increase their effectiveness and gain the requisite perspective and momentum, to maximize business results and personal satisfaction. We use that expertise to help Executive Teams better leverage their abilities, as a team, to run the business as a whole and to find powerful solutions to real life business challenges and opportunities. We will work with you to design and facilitate an Executive Leadership Offsite that addresses the specific issues and needs of your Leadership Team.

We conduct pre-offsite interviews with all Executive team members, to better enable us to understand and impact all pertinent perspectives on the critical issues. During the Offsite we will engage your leaders emotionally and challenge them intellectually while addressing the issues that enable their ability to work together to run your business with high levels of success. These offsites can be single or multiple-day in duration.

Some of the foci of previous Executive Offsites where we utilized our specific expertise:

  • Reestablishing the focus and relationships which enable Leadership Team members to act and feel like a real team

  • Helping Leadership Teams move from accountability for their individual functional areas or areas of expertise, to achieving greater accountability for the organization as a whole

  • Creating understanding of who their "First Team" is.  Are they ‘function or department leaders’ who happen to have meetings together or do they operate as a team, making decisions to run the entire enterprise together?

  • Enhancing ability, comfort and motivation to provide constructive feedback to each other, without hesitation

  • Understanding each other’s unique needs and preferences for working with one another, at much deeper levels than may currently exist

  • Creating internal Leadership Team ‘Operating Principles’ with high levels of commitment

  • Creating a ‘Brand’ for the Leadership Team and a ‘Brand Plan’ to manage their impact and how they are perceived by the rest of the organization
