Services:  Keynote Speeches

"Congratulations! Your presentation scored the highest of all the external presentations (based on 1400 replies!). Also, when we asked our people at the end of the survey what three things they will use and implement upon returning to their store; your topic was the top choice. You gave our conference audience practical tips they can actually put into practice and were entertaining and motivating. I was very happy that your session was such a hit. Well done and thank you!"

Karen Bossin - Director, Conferences & Events, Shoppers Drug Mart

We have a number of keynote speech topics to choose from listed below, or we will customize a keynote to your needs.

CREATING A CULTURE OF INNOVATION

Most companies have come to the realization that Innovation is critical for them to grow, and in some cases, to survive. When it comes to Innovation in the marketplace currently, there are an overwhelming number of complex models, methodologies, approaches and supposed Gurus. In this powerful keynote, On the Mark’s President, Mitch Fairrais, cuts through it all with some common sense approaches to Innovation. Mitch addresses the simple things that anyone in your organization can do to foster a Culture of Innovation. He also addresses how to avoid some of the most common pitfalls which can undermine the ability to create a Culture of Innovation.

NAVIGATING DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS

Have you ever felt nervous about having a difficult conversation with a colleague, employee, customer, or family member?  This session will introduce you to three valuable techniques to help you get the best from others when you need to have these conversations.  The techniques will allow you to have more ease and reduce potential friction when conducting difficult conversations. You will learn how to increase the likelihood of achieving a successful outcome, while leaving the other person feeling valued in the process.  This one-hour session will include time to practice these simple, yet practical, techniques, so you can be prepared to use them, in the real world.

FRAME OF REFERENCE - THE ART OF INFLUENCING OTHERS

The art of influencing others requires stepping into another person’s frame of reference.  This communication practice unlocks the very best results in any relationship.

Participants will explore how stepping out of their own frame of reference and into someone else’s is the best way to get on the same page with others and do so quickly.  As straightforward as this sounds, it’s a skill that is seldom taught, and is practiced even less.

This keynote will explore how to gain understanding and influence viewpoints that differ from our own.  It will equip participants with best practices and practical tools they can use to be more effective – with their employees, customers, colleagues, managers, peers and family.

WHAT'S POSSIBLE?  - A MINDSET THAT ENABLES BREAKTHROUGH

This keynote is all about getting more of what you want out of life, including better business results.

We will introduce a decision-making model that will enable participants to change the way they approach opportunities and challenges, and ultimately change what they can accomplish. We will introduce a focused way of approaching decisions that can yield unprecedented results.  We will also explore how the way in which people label circumstances they encounter, can have significant impact on what they can, or can’t, accomplish.  Finally, we will provide insight in regard to what really does enable, or block, a culture of innovation.

Participants will leave this session motivated and capable of changing the way they approach challenges, make decisions, and solve problems.

THE ORIGIN OF TRUST

Trust is the key that unlocks the ability to get to results with, and through, others faster, and with less effort.  People don’t trust you when they get to understand you; they trust you when they feel you understand them.  Establishing trust leads to loyalty with employees, customers, colleagues, managers, peers and family.

Everyone talks about the importance of trust, but few know what concrete strategies they can use to create it.  This keynote will outline practical strategies for creating trust.

CUSTOMER SERVICE - YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!

This keynote will explore the true essence of Customer Service.  It will help audience members understand that Customer Service can only be defined from the customer’s frame of reference.  It will have the audience explore how they can bring about “felt” customer service, through hiring, modeling, and training. Through a combination of both poignant and humorous stories, we will help the audience understand the difference between “trained hospitality” and “sincere hospitality”.  Then we’ll provide some straightforward suggestions and insights to create customer interactions that are defined by “sincere hospitality”.  Finally, we will have audience members evaluate their own levels of customer service, using the “family test”.  This is simply asking yourself if the level of service, accountability and attentiveness you provide is equal to that you would provide your mother, father, sister or brother.
